Introduction to learn how to do elementary algebra:

Elementary Algebra covers all the basic operations and function in algebra topic. The elementary algebra is the main part covered arithmetic. All the basic operation is presented in this area . This is covering all basic operation of addition multiplication, subtraction, and division. The elementary algebra covers kindergarten level to middle school level. This is also help to solve for real life problem.

Learn how to do elementary algebra problems:

Write a verbal expression for each algebraic expression:

1.   9a2

Answer:

In this elementary algebra problem we learn how to do the 9a2

Step1: first we take the root for find the factor

Step2: root on the both 9 and a2

Step3: finally we get the answer for 9a2

     (3a) 2 = 3a * 3a = 9a2

2.    52

Answer:

In this elementary algebra problem we learn how to do 52

We multiply 5 x 5 finally we get answer for 52

             25 =  5*5

3.    4(xy) 2

Answer:

Step1: first we take the root for find the factor

Step2: root on the both 4 and (xy) 2

Step3: finally we get the answer for 4(xy) 2

             2xy * 2xy  =  4(xy)2

Write an algebraic expression for each verbal expression:

1.  15 less than k

Answer:

In this elementary algebra problem we write expression for the given condition

The 15 is less than the variable k value.

           15 < k

2.  6 more than twice m

Answer:

In this problem we write expression for the given condition

The value 6 is twice more than the variable m.

            6 > 2m

3. 8 increased by three times a number

Answer:

In this problem we write expression for the given condition

The value 8 is increased with the three times of a variable m.

            3n + 8

Solving One-Step Equations:

1. d - 8 = 17

Answer:

We add 8 on both sides

            d- 8+8 = 17+8

                   d = 25

2. V + 12 = -5

Answer:

We add -12 on both sides

              V +12 -12 = -5-12

                         V  =  -17

3. b - 2 = -11

Answer:

We add +2 on both sides

              b-2 +2=-11+2

                     b =  -9

4. -16 = m + 71

Answer:

We add -71 on both sides

            -16-71=m +71 -71

                     m = -87.

Learn how to do elementary algebra problem for practice:

Example: 1

If x = 6, what is the value of x2 + 3x + 7?

Solution:

In this problem we learn how to do a given expression x2 + 3x + 7, along with a value for x equal to 6. The correct method is to substitute the numerical value into the expression and then make sure to do the math correctly.

            = (6)2 + 3(6)+7

            = 36 + 18 + 7   =  61

Example: 2

4x - 5 = 2x – 2 , Solve for x.

Solution:

Add +5 = + 5 both sides

            4x  =  2x + 3

            Subtract   -2x= -2x both sides

                2x = 3

Divide by 2 both sides

                2x/2  = 3/2

                      X = 3/2.
