Decimal places of pi:

Solution:

Formula for area of circle is = pi r ^2

Where pi = 3.14

R = 4cm

Substitute the value into the formula

= 3.14 * 4 * 4

42 is equal to 4 * 4 = 16

=  3.14 * 16

= 50.24

Area of the circle is = 50.24

 Find the volume on the given sphere which has the radius of 5 centimeter.

 Solution:

The formula used to find the volume of the sphere is =` 4/3` pi r 3.

53 can be written as 125.

                        Volume = `4/ 3` pi 125.

By simplifying it

72 can be written as 49.

                                              = 4 pi 49.

By simplifying it we get the answer as

Find the surface area of the sphere that the diameter of 12 centimeter.

Solution:-

Given the diameter of the sphere is 12 centimeter.

The radius is half of the diameter.

So radius is 12/ 2 = 2

r =6

The formula used to find the surface area of the sphere is 4 pi r 2

By plugging in the given values in to the formula we get

                          Surface area = 4 pi (6)2.

62 can be written as 36.

By simplifying it we get the answer as
